David Riker, President and Chief Executive Officer.
David Riker is the CEO of Storm Exchange. Recognized as one of the leading innovators in the risk management industry, Mr. Riker was formerly VP of Product Development and Director of Strategic Development at Marsh & McLennan Companies (NYSE: MMC), Chief Technology Strategist at St. Paul Travelers (NYSE: STA) and Founding CEO of auto insurance provider, eCoverage. Mr. Riker launched Storm Exchange in 2006 with the vision of bringing powerful weather risk management solutions to end-user companies and municipalities around the world – at a time when the weather is becoming increasingly more volatile.
Dennis Reaves is Chief Operating Officer. Dennis has extensive and proven experience leading complex technology development over his 22 year career within Financial Services and Logistics Industries. Dennis was former CTO of Odyssey Logistics & Technology, (the world’s largest chemical logistics outsourcing company); former CTO of RELY Software, (a transportation software vendor); architect for Qpass, (the leading provider of business systems to wireless carriers).
Paul Walsh is Chief Strategy Officer for Storm Exchange and is one of the nation's leading authorities on the impact of weather on business and consumer behavior. Paul was formerly SVP Client Services and Business Meteorology for Planalytics, Inc., where he was responsible for interpreting how weather influences the daily lives of consumers and communicating that information to senior executives at most of the nation's largest retail, manufacturing, and Wall Street firms. He's frequently quoted in the national business and financial press, and a regular commentator on national business television networks. Before moving into the private sector in 1997, Paul was a Master Meteorologist in the United States Air Force.
Jarvis Cromwell is Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Storm Exchange. Over a 25 year career he has led marketing programs throughout the financial services industry, from financial information, corporate finance, investment management, insurance, ATM and debit cards, wealth management, and transaction processing. Jarvis has previously served as SVP and CMO for Thomson Financial, VP and marketing head for Citigroup Global Markets, and as a Managing Director of Marketing for Commonfund. He has also run his own consulting firm and served as a VP, Management Supervisor for a division of J. Walter Thompson. A contributing author to the book, The Chief Marketing Officer, Jarvis is nationally recognized for his innovative thinking in the areas of building brand trust and improving corporate reputational Performance. He is a graduate of Tufts University and lives in Connecticut with his wife and two children.
