About the Service

Built upon the best predictive meteorological science available, the Storm Exchange Hurricane Risk Outlook is a year-long weather risk service providing regular and detailed assessments of the expected number of tropical storms, hurricanes and intense hurricanes for the upcoming season, along with the evolving risk scenarios.

The outlook includes regional and national strike probabilities for the United States, tailored to the regions currently traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Hurricane Risk Updates are provided monthly giving clients an objective “first look” reassessment of the current factors influencing the season and a competitive edge as events unfold.
